Los Angeles Wedding Photographer

Los Angeles is a city built for street-style photography, and after years working here I've learned where it keeps its best light. Downtown at sunset is my favorite kind of puzzle — light spilling through tunnels, bouncing off glass towers, and collecting in narrow pockets between the high-rises. A few minutes away you've got the silver, reflective curves of the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the European architecture of Pasadena City Hall, and up the hill, Griffith Observatory with the whole city behind it.

However we use those backdrops, the photographs stay true to the emotion of the day. I shoot to your strengths as a couple and shape the light to tell your specific story — because to me, following the light means knowing how much of it to use and which angle to exploit, then bending it your way. Respect the light and it lends you its power; without it, there's nothing to show. With a background in dance, I can break a pose down to the smallest detail or step back and let you move naturally, jumping in only when you need me — whatever gets us something that feels timeless.
